EPC's
Every property in the UK is required to have an EPC (energy performance certificate) before it can be legally rented. Your property may already have one in place, but its worth checking by visiting the national epc register online. The rental sector in particular has gone through many changes with regard to minimum required EPC standards or (MEES).
